Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Print.co.za website and services (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, customers, and suppliers who access or use the Service.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. About the service
Print.co.za is a quote marketplace that connects customers seeking print services with print suppliers in South Africa. We facilitate introductions between customers and suppliers. We do not manufacture, print, produce, or deliver any products ourselves. We are not a printer, manufacturer, or fulfilment company.
Our Service includes an AI-powered assistant that helps customers describe their print requirements. The AI assistant is a tool provided for convenience and does not constitute professional advice.
3. Our role and limitations
We act solely as an intermediary. When you submit a quote request, we forward your requirements to relevant print suppliers who then contact you directly. Any agreement, transaction, negotiation, or arrangement between you and a supplier is between you and that supplier exclusively.
Print.co.za is not a party to any agreement between customers and suppliers and accepts no responsibility or liability for the quality, accuracy, timeliness, safety, legality, or any other aspect of any products or services provided by any supplier. We do not endorse, warrant, or guarantee any supplier, their work, their pricing, or their ability to fulfil orders.
We do not verify the accuracy of information provided by suppliers beyond basic business verification. We do not guarantee that suppliers will respond to your request, that their quotes will meet your budget or expectations, or that any supplier will be available for your specific requirements.
4. Artificial intelligence disclaimer
Our Service uses third-party artificial intelligence technology to provide an AI-powered assistant (“the AI Assistant”). By using the AI Assistant, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
No guarantee of accuracy: The AI Assistant generates responses using machine learning technology. Responses, including but not limited to product suggestions, pricing estimates, specifications, material recommendations, and any other information, are provided for general informational and convenience purposes only. They may contain errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any AI-generated content.
Not professional advice: AI-generated content does not constitute professional, expert, legal, financial, or technical advice. You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for any decision.
User responsibility: You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and confirming all information generated by the AI Assistant before it is submitted or acted upon. You acknowledge that you use AI-generated content at your own risk.
Pricing estimates: Any pricing information provided by the AI Assistant is approximate and based on general market data. Actual pricing from suppliers may differ significantly. Pricing estimates should not be construed as offers, quotes, or guarantees of price.
Data processing: Conversations with the AI Assistant are processed by third-party AI service providers. By using the AI Assistant, you consent to the transmission of your conversation data to these providers for processing purposes.
Limitation of liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, cost, expense, claim, or inconvenience arising from or in connection with your use of or reliance on the AI Assistant or any AI-generated content.
5. Customer responsibilities
By using this Service as a customer, you agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete contact information. You agree to submit genuine print enquiries only and not use the Service for spam, phishing, fraudulent, or malicious purposes. You agree not to submit content that is offensive, illegal, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or harmful. You agree not to attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the integrity or security of the Service. You agree not to use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service without our prior written consent. You agree not to impersonate another person or entity.
We reserve the right to block, suspend, or restrict access for any user who violates these Terms or who we reasonably believe is abusing the Service.
6. Supplier responsibilities
Suppliers listed on or using Print.co.za agree to respond to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner. Suppliers agree to provide honest, accurate, and competitive quotes. Suppliers agree to deliver work to the standard, specifications, and timeline agreed with the customer. Suppliers agree to comply with all applicable South African laws, regulations, and industry standards. Suppliers agree to maintain appropriate business registrations, licences, and insurance as required by law. Suppliers agree not to use customer information obtained through the Service for any purpose other than responding to the specific enquiry.
We reserve the right to remove any supplier from our network at our sole discretion and without notice.
7. Intellectual property
All content, design, code, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, icons, images, software, and other materials on Print.co.za are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by South African and international intellectual property laws. 8. Advertising and sponsored content
Our website may display advertisements, sponsored content, or promotional material from third-party advertisers. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any advertisements or the products or services advertised. Your interactions with any advertiser are solely between you and that advertiser, and we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from such interactions.
The inclusion of advertisements on our website does not imply our endorsement, recommendation, or approval of the advertised products, services, or companies.
9. Third-party services and links
Our Service relies on third-party service providers for hosting, database management, email delivery, AI processing, analytics, payment processing, and other operational functions. We are not responsible for the availability, reliability, security, or performance of any third-party service. Outages or failures of third-party services may affect the availability or functionality of our Service.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party website. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Print.co.za, its owners, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service, any interactions with suppliers found through the Service, any AI-generated content, any products or services obtained from suppliers, any unauthorised access to or alteration of your data, any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in the Service, or any other matter relating to the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount, if any, that you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Print.co.za, its owners, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or in connection with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or regulation, your infringement of any third-party right, or any content you submit through the Service.
12. Dispute resolution
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may refer the dispute to mediation administered by a mutually agreed mediator. If mediation fails, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act of South Africa.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent interim relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
13. No guarantee of service
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant that the results obtained from the Service will be accurate, reliable, or meet your expectations.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
14. Force majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, power outages, internet disruptions, cyberattacks, pandemics, labour disputes, or third-party service failures.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving the original intent.
16. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or policies published on our website, constitute the entire agreement between you and Print.co.za regarding your use of the Service. These Terms supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings, whether written or oral.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of South Africa.
